Feinsod wins division in UNC Open

Jesse Feinsod's championship finish at 174 lbs. highlighted a solid performance by New Mexico Highlands University wrestlers in Sunday's Old Chicago Open hosted by the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.

Feinsod, who has been ranked fourth in NCAA Division II, was the top seed in his bracket — high acclaim in and of itself for the Cowboys senior — and dominated his first three matches to reach the final. He capped the day with a showdown against third-seeded Shawn Kuhlman of Fort Hays State and scored a pin at the 4:50 mark.
