A Las Vegas native who served as a judge in both Metropolitan Court and state District Court in Albuquerque before retiring from the bench in 2008 has been named interim director of the National Center for DWI Courts.
The Alexandria, VA.,-based organization announced the appointment of Judge J. Michael Kavanaugh last week. He succeeds outgoing director David Wallace.
