Except for Little League and the growing assortment of traveling youth teams, baseball season is over in the Meadow City.

Robertson lost twice to third-seeded Sandia Prep on Saturday in the Class 3A high school state tournament, dashing high hopes after a 6-5 upset of the Sundevils on Friday evening in Albuquerque. Sandia Prep won 34-4 and 14-1 to move past the 14th-seeded Cardinals.
