Editor's Note - Tragedy has consequences

-A A +A
By Martin Salazar

I recently received a letter from someone identified only as L. Romero about the rollover earlier this month that claimed the lives of two West Las Vegas Middle School students.

State police have said that speed, alcohol and reckless driving were all factors in the crash, and District Attorney Richard Flores is now contemplating whether to try the alleged driver, Wayne Lovato, as an adult.

I didn’t run the piece in our letters to the editor section because it had no contact information and the first name was abbreviated.
