Las Vegas City Schools has had a run of good luck in recent weeks.
Superintendent Sheryl McNellis-Martinez said that in late April she received a letter that helped solve the district’s budget woes. The letter informed the district it had been approved for E-rate funding since last July.
The approved funding is for roughly $300,000 and will help eliminate the district’s shortfall for this fiscal year, which ends June 30.
