With two job offers on the table and no prospect of a long-term contract with the city of Las Vegas, City Manager Timothy Dodge has decided to hit the road.
The latest offer is from the city of Santa Rosa. The city council there voted 3-1 last Friday to offer Dodge a four-year, $99,000 a year contract to be administrator.
The Santa Rosa pay is actually $11,000 lower than the $110,000 salary he receives here, but Dodge was enticed by the stability of a multi-year contract.
