The parents of a boy slain near Robertson High School has put the Las Vegas City Schools on notice that they may sue the district.
A couple of weeks ago, Eloy Trujillo, 18, was sentenced to 7-1/2 years in prison for killing Anthony Maes during an alleyway fight near the high school.
Loretta and Ernest Martinez of Sapello, Maes’ parents, filed a notice with the school district July 17 that they may sue the district in the matter. No attorney’s name was included in the notice.
