I wanted to commend you for the editorial of Monday, Oct. 15, emphasizing the importance of water and the necessity of protecting this most valuable resource in this arid region, as well as to thank you for your fine articles on the film, “Rooted Lands — Tierras Arraigadas.”

I also wanted to add one important note regarding the making of the film. Without fellow filmmaker Nancy Dickenson (executive producer and  co-producer of the film as well as a Mora County local), this film would not have been possible.
