“El Toro” Arturo Crespin will be back in the professional boxing ring as one half of the main event of an upcoming card in Albuquerque.
Crespin is scheduled to fight Julio Lanzas of Colorado Springs, headling a Chavez Promotions event on Nov. 16 at the PAL Auditorium.
The West Las Vegas alumnus has been training in town at his father Carlos Crespin’s gym and also making trips to spar with fellow pro contender Fidel Maldonado, according to the elder Crespin.
Another boxer with ties to the Meadow City, Michael Coca Gallegos, is also scheduled to fight on the card. Coca Gallegos recently earned his first professional victory.
Tickets for the evening of boxing will range from $25 to $45 and $60 depending on seating. For local ticket information or to purchase, fans may call Carlos Crespin at 429-4068.
