Respect continues to grow for the New Mexico Highlands women’s track and field team.
The Cowgirls were picked to finish fourth among the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s 10 schools that offer women’s indoor track and field programs. That is according to an RMAC preseason coaches’ poll released on Monday by the Colorado Springs-based league office.
Powered by some strong individual performances — notably by the versatile Angella Graham — the Cowgirls have challenged in a number of events across the board.
