John Jackson missed a three-pointer in the waning seconds Friday night, and New Mexico Highlands preserved a 74-72 win over No. 14 nationally ranked Adams State.
Unfortunately for Cowboy fans, the team’s bid for a second upset of a ranked team fell short the next night as No. 20 Fort Lewis prevailed.
