Cowboys eye record in weekend homestand

The Highlands Cowboys are poised to become the poster boys for single-season improvement in all of college basketball.

A win in either of two home games this weekend will give NMHU sole possession of the all-time record for turning a program around in NCAA men’s hoops. Highlands already is tied for a share of that distinction, having earned 19 wins under first-year coach Joe Harge compared to one in 2007-08.
