The city of Las Vegas announced Friday that it is in violation of drinking water standards, although a top water official said the water remains safe to drink and doesn’t need to be boiled.
“There’s no risk right now,” said Don Cole, the city’s water systems manager.
Still, the city is advising that anyone with a severely compromised immune system, infants and the elderly could be at increased risk.
