A consulting firm is advancing two options for the city’s efforts to beautify Grand Avenue — four lanes or two lanes.
A merchants group, meanwhile, is proposing a three-lane compromise.
Representatives of the Albuquerque branch of Gannett Fleming West Inc., hired by the state Transportation Department, presented its proposals to the City Council last week. The project is for Grand from National Avenue to Tilden Street.
