City gas customers to pay less this winter

Finally, some good news for city utility customers.

The city of Las Vegas has announced that its natural gas customers can expect to see lower bills this winter due to lower market prices and decreases in unaccounted for gas related to its leak detection and repair program. The city estimates that the savings will be about $6.80 a month or $82 a year for it average residential customers and $30.78 a month or $369 a year for the average commercial customers.
