For a dozen years, the Las Vegas-San Miguel Chamber of Commerce didn’t have a required certificate of incorporation with the state.
The chamber, which receives funds from both the city of Las Vegas and San Miguel County, solved the problem in late October.
Diane Ortiz, the chamber’s executive director, said Friday that she applied for the certificate after the state Public Regulation Commission notified the chamber by letter that it had been revoked in 1995.
