With the municipal elections just two weeks away, the eight candidates vying to be mayor sought to differentiate themselves during Monday evening’s mayoral forum sponsored by the Optic.

Chris Lopez described himself as the only candidate running for mayor who has actually created jobs by investing his own money back in the community, and he pledged that, if elected, he would donate his $10,000 mayoral salary back to the city.
