Highlands University’s information technology department is working on ways to improve campus security.
Max Baca, director of information technology services, told the buildings and grounds committee last week that his office is working with the administration to deploy a video surveillance system aimed at deterring as well as providing evidence of criminal activity in places such as parking lots, pedestrian walkways and gathering areas.
