Concerns kill deal to sell camp
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A deal to sell a financially troubled Southern Baptist camp in New Mexico to a Christian college in California has fallen through over concerns about theology.
Nashville-based LifeWay Christian Resources announced plans earlier this year to sell the 2,100-acre Glorieta Conference Center in Glorieta, N.M. to Olivet University.
The Tennessean reported Tuesday that the deal is off.
