Liquor sales change coming
SANTA FE — New Mexicans will soon be able to buy beer, wine and cocktails earlier on Sunday at restaurants and bars.
A new law takes effect June 14 allowing liquor to be sold at 11 a.m. rather than noon.
However, the change applies only to bars and restaurants. Noon remains the Sunday starting time for buying liquor at supermarkets, convenience stores and other locations for off-premise consumption.
