With a 90-80 decision against Fort Lewis on Tuesday night, New Mexico Highlands' men's basketball team earned a trip to Pueblo, Colo., for the semifinals of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Shootout.
The Cowboys (19-9) will face Colorado Christian (12-15), who upset the RMAC East's No. 1 team Colorado School of Mines on Tuesday. The Cowboys and Cougars tip off at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Colorado State Fairgrounds.
In the other semifinal, CSU-Pueblo (17-10) meets Metro State (22-6). CSUP's ThunderWolves upset the West division's No. 1 squad, Mesa State, while Metro -- the defending league champ -- romped past Colorado-Colorado Springs in the first round. The Wolves and Roadrunners play at 1 p.m. Friday.
The championship game is set for 5 p.m. Saturday, also in Pueblo.
