A man held up a local service station early this morning, leaving with an undisclosed amount of money, city police said.
The suspect was described as Hispanic, five feet, 6 inches tall and wearing a gray pullover and a black cloth around half of his face.
Police Chief Gary Gold said the man came in wielding a knife at 4:30 a.m. in the Sav-O-Mat service station at Fifth Street and University avenue. The man demanded money and then fled the store.
