West Las Vegas will have to forfeit four boys' basketball games after all, according to one of the plaintiffs in a case decided in district court.
The decision came Monday morning after a daylong hearing Friday pitted coaches David Bustos and Steve Sandoval and their players against the New Mexico Activities Association in the courtroom of Judge Abigail Aragon.
A final hearing in the matter is set for the morning of Feb. 21, but that will be after the District 2-4A tournament is set to begin.
