Big hotel opens

It’s a brand name worldwide, but Holiday Inn Express General Manager Kay Dorman says there are some amenities that are exclusive to the just-opened Las Vegas hotel.

“In the evenings, we offer cheese and cracker trays, cookies and fresh coffee for our late arrivals,” she said.

Guests enter a lobby with slate floors, lounge chairs, a full business center, a comfortable lounge area and a large breakfast area with a super-sized flat-screen television.
