Gov. Susana Martinez signed off Friday on a capital outlay bill that sets aside $11.5 million for projects in San Miguel and Mora counties.
Unlike last year, when the governor vetoed a number of area projects, all of this year’s projects for Mora and San Miguel county survived the governor’s veto pen, including the $1.8 million allocated for planning and design of the city of Las Vegas’ Bradner Dam and another $1.85 million for Mora County’s complex, which has been stalled for years due to lack of funding.
