The Las Vegas City Schools district put out a help wanted sign nearly a month ago seeking applicants for all of its administrative positions, from associate superintendent on down to assistant principals.
The move, which stems from interim Superintendent Sheryl McNellis-Martinez’s decision to open up all administrative positions, has generated its share of criticism.
McNellis-Martinez’s plan is to have all administrative positions filled before the end of June. Last week the district interviewed applicants for principal positions throughout the district.
