(Today it has been) a year since the “Anti-Tethering of Canines Ordinance” was adopted and passed unanimously by the Las Vegas City Council and so shall become effective. From this date on, it will be unlawful to tie a dog outside unless a number of conditions are met.
The first and most easily observed such condition being that a responsible party (person) be also outside and within sight of the dog. Other conditions include types and weight of tethers, weather conditions, and the age and health of the dog.
