Andrade honored by RMAC

New Mexico Highlands’ Roman Andrade earned the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference West Division Player of the Week honors Dec. 22.

Andrade is a 6-2 junior point guard from Albuquerque.

He leads the Cowboys in scoring (20.4 points per game) and has been a key player in the team’s turnaround from a one-win 2007-08 campaign.

The Cowboys, now 7-2 overall and 2-1 in the RMAC, play a non-league game Tuesday at West Texas A&M.
