Robert Andino hit for the cycle and notched five hits overall as host Albuquerque throttled New Orleans 16-8 Thursday night at Isotopes Park.
Albuquerque (61-72) moved within a game of the Zephyrs for second place in the PCL American South.
Andino’s cycle is the first for a ‘Tope since Derek Wathan did it in 2004. The Isotopes outhit New Orleans 20-15 and led 16-5 after six.
The Isotopes'final homestand of the season continues through Sunday.
