Lots of construction at the airport these days, plus activity related to the current filming: planes, busses, and cars. Wow.
The old terminal building at the Las Vegas Airport is no more. Instead, there is a shallow dirt depression in the concrete/asphalt, surrounded by temporary barriers and awaiting its own paving. Presumably, the larger metal building nearby now houses the functions of the airport staff and clients.
The building had welcomed passengers and crews from several commercial airlines over the years as well as tens -- even hundreds -- of thousands of general aviation pilots and passengers.
Data for 2006 show over 11,000 airplane "events" at the airport. I would guess that counts landings, takeoffs, overnight stays, fuelings, etc. etc.
