3 properties declared nuisances

Three residential properties owned by William Mora have been declared dangerous nuisances by the City Council, but members of the governing body voted Wednesday to give Mora 60 days to cleanup the properties.

The properties are at 406 11th Street, 1305 Eighth Street and 1020 Jackson Street. Las Vegas enforcement officer Daniel Edwards told the council that he has been trying to get Mora to clean up the properties since January, but little progress has been made.
