Robertson earned another state title in wrestling, the city’s prep track and field athletes took home several individual championships, and everyone else — or so it seemed — got close to the winner’s circle.

A season-by-season review of 2007-08, the year in Las Vegas sports:

SUMMER: The Meadow City hosted most of the district Little League tournaments. Las Vegas Little League’s 9-10 softball team went on to capture a state title, a first for the city. A couple other teams earned district banners.
